Presidents-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) is a mandatory and vital training program for all Presidents-Elect for Rotary Clubs within a given district or group of districts (multi PETS). The purpose of the PETS is to provide club presidents with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation to lead an effective club. Great Lakes Rotary PETS is a multi PETS that includes Districts 6290 - NW Michigan plus Wawa Ontario, 6310 - NE Michigan, 6360 - SW Michigan, 6380 - four SE Michigan counties and Kent Co., Ontario, 6400 - SE Michigan, incld.  Registration

 

Register Online

 

Everyone attending PETS must register, including all President-elect's (PEs). Again this year, both the PETS registration and hotel reservations are handled from the Register Online page. Registration runs from Jan. 8 until March 15, 2010.

The registration fee is $145. You must pay with a credit card, unless your registration fee has been prepaid (e.g. you are a President-elect).

Your hotel room is not covered by the registration fee.

 Preparing for PETS



President-elect's must attend the entire PETS program. All Great Lakes Rotary PETS events are being held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, downtown Kalamazoo, MI. The times and locations for the seminars and events for PEs, PNs, AGs, partners, etc... are provided on the Schedule page.

It's highly recommended that you prepare in advance for the seminars. Look over the list of resources available for downloading.

What to wear:

Daily sessions are "Rotary Casual." Slacks with sweaters or jackets for men, slacks or skirts with sweaters or jackets for women are ideal. But remember this is a business meeting, so please no T-shirts, shorts, jeans etc.

Saturday - Traveling Clothes

Please remember to always wear your Rotary pin.
